The LSU Arbovirus Department reported that West Nile virus was present in Upper St. Martin Parish and the City of Franklin for the 2025 Mosquito Season. Please take all necessary precautions according to the Center for Disease Control and Louisiana Department of Health. Please avoid mosquitoes at dusk and dawn and wear an EPA approved repellant such as OFF!
